SearchRev joins AKQA digital marketing network
Leading search engine marketing firm acquired by AKQA as stand-alone unit

Palo Alto, Calif. August 22, 2007 —SearchRev, a leading developer of search engine marketing (SEM) technology solutions, today announced it has agreed to be acquired by AKQA, a pioneer in online marketing. AKQA was named Interactive Agency of the Year in both the U.S. and the U.K. for the past two years. The combination of SearchRev and AKQA will provide customers of both companies with SearchRev’s unique SEM technology which takes paid search beyond the keyword level.

SearchRev will continue to operate as a stand-alone unit, providing professional services and technology licenses to both advertisers and agencies. SearchRev co-founders, COO David Kandasamy and CRO Eduardo Llach, will continue to lead the company. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
